
Bio
Nicolas Beytout joined Les Echos in 1981, becoming editor-in-chief in 1986, then editorial director and coordinator of the group's editorial teams. From October 2004 to November 2007, he was Editorial Director of Le Figaro and Chairman of the Group's Editorial Committee. He is also a member of Le Figaro's Management Board. From November 2007 to September 2011, he was CEO of Groupe Les Echos, the media division of LVMH. He then became Chairman of Les Echos, Investir, Radio Classique and SID Presse. In January 2013, he founded l'Opinion, of which he is Chairman and Editorial Director. In September 2019, l'Opinion acquired L'Agefi, an economic and financial press company. The group more than doubles in size, with almost 150 employees, including 80 press cards. Nicolas Beytout has also been an editorialist on RTL, Europe 1 and France Inter, and is a regular guest on television (LCI, BFMTV, France 5...).
