Elie GIRARD

Bio

Elie Girard, born April 12, 1978 in Arles, is a French business executive recognized in the digital sector. A graduate of École Centrale Paris and Harvard University in economics and statistics, he began his career as an economist at the French Treasury Department before becoming an advisor to several Ministers of Economy, Finance, Industry, and Budget. In 2007, he joined Orange, where he held strategic positions on the Executive Committee, including Executive Director in charge of strategy and development. In 2014, he moved to Atos, where he became Chief Financial Officer, then CEO, leading the group of 120,000 employees worldwide, which was then listed on the CAC40. There, he led major transformations, particularly in cloud, digital, cybersecurity, and decarbonization. In 2022, he was appointed Executive Chairman of Alice & Bob, a start-up specializing in quantum computing.
