he New Social Roles of Corporates

Session 19 Amphi 3 July 4, 2025 16:15 - 17:15

Overview

In 2025, corporate responsibility is far beyond economic value creation alone. Faced with environmental crises, growing inequalities and increased expectations of consumers and employees, they are increasingly called upon to play an active role in the ecological transition, social inclusion and business ethics. But how far can they go? Is the commitment to social and environmental issues compatible with the search for profitability and shareholder pressure? Companies now have no choice but to ignore these imperatives. Between regulatory pressure, societal expectations and investor requirements, they must redefine their mission to fully integrate social and environmental issues.
