Ensuring our defense

In an increasingly uncertain world, where the risks of inter-state confrontations and geopolitical threats are multiplying, the question of ensuring our defenses arises. The current situation, between the pandemic, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the rise of populism and the protectionist withdrawal of certain States, makes it essential today to rediscover a peaceful and collective international order. It is therefore necessary to consider the means to be implemented to reinforce the defense of our territory and ensure the security of our citizens, and the consequent economic and social arbitrations.
Given the global instability, should external (military or para) interventions be favored in the future? To what extent should France or the European Union be involved militarily? Is it essential to maintain a credible nuclear deterrent force? Should the budget allocated to defense be increased, reduced or maintained?
