Can digital be managed?

Nevertheless, this digital preponderance engenders feelings of insecurity and uncertainty about their management. As new technologies emerge – such as telecommunications, blockchain and artificial intelligence – mastering them is not just a matter of acquiring technical skills. It also relies on our ability to develop a critical mind and analytical thinking. As the digital ecosystem advances and evolves, can we strike a balance between the opportunities of the digital age and the preservation of our free will? Insofar as digital technology is the source of human genius, is it inherently controllable? At a time when data collection threatens our privacy, are we really ready to concede certain everyday conveniences for the sake of greater ethics?
